Terms of Service

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately of unauthorized use.

Accounts may be assigned the role of reader, writer, or admin. Writers may receive assignments and publish content. Admins may assign coverage, moderate content, and manage roles. Role assignment is at our discretion.

The Service provides the following features. The list is kept in sync with the product:

• Accounts & Roles. Email/password and Google sign-in. Users may be readers, writers, or admins. Roles are assigned by admins.
• Articles & Assignments. Writers receive assignments, draft articles, and publish them. Admins can edit and assign coverage.
• Comments & Likes. Signed-in users can comment on and like articles. Authors and admins receive notifications about activity on their own work.
• Notifications. In-app notifications surface assignments, comments, and likes. Email notifications may be sent for select events; you can unsubscribe at any time.
• Game Chat. Live, per-game chat rooms for signed-in users while games are in progress.
• Live Scores & Stats. Public game data, standings, and player stats sourced from third-party sports data providers.
• Image Storage. Writers and admins can upload article images. Images are stored on our backend and served publicly when attached to published content.
• Analytics. We collect aggregated, privacy-respecting usage analytics to improve the product.

You retain ownership of content you submit (articles, comments, chat, images — "User Content"). By submitting User Content, you grant Imagine That Media LLC a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, modify (for formatting), publish, display, and distribute your User Content on and through the Service and our marketing channels.

You represent that you own or have the necessary rights to your User Content, and that it does not violate any third-party rights or applicable law.

You agree not to:

• Post unlawful, defamatory, harassing, hateful, or infringing content.
• Impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation.
• Upload malware, attempt to breach security, or interfere with the Service.
• Scrape or bulk-download content without permission.
• Use the Service to spam other users or send unsolicited messages.

We may remove content, suspend, or terminate accounts at our discretion, including for violations of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us.

Game, team, and player data is provided by third parties and may be inaccurate or delayed. The Service may contain affiliate links to third-party stores; we may earn a commission on qualifying purchases.

The Service, including its name, branding, design, and software (excluding User Content), is owned by Imagine That Media LLC and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy or reuse our brand assets without written permission.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IMAGINE THAT MEDIA LLC AND ITS AFFILIATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR DATA, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY WILL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (USD $100).

You agree to indemnify and hold Imagine That Media LLC harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your User Content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in California, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

We update these Terms as the Service evolves. When we add or change features that affect your rights or use, we revise the feature list above and update the "Last updated" date and version at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
